Asia-Pacific bad loans rise, says Merrill Lynch (Business Times (Malaysia))

HONG KONG: Asia-Pacific non-performing loans are rising and the region’s banks are having a “disappointing” start to 2009 as the economy slows, according to Bank of America Corp’s Merrill Lynch & Co unit.
